'Click It Or Ticket' Seat Belt Campaign Under Way In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Police Department is once again participating in the statewide high visibility seat belt enforcement campaign "Click it or Ticket."

The seat belt campaign to promote safe driving and increase protection for motorists began Monday and continues through Sunday, June 5.

New Canaan officers will be out enforcing the state occupant protection laws and issuing citations to those who are unbuckled.

The officers and staff of the New Canaan Police Department extended their wishes to the community for a safe Memorial Day weekend.
