Tory Hinton, 33, was pulled over after police saw him traveling in a Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows and a cracked windshield. Authorities ran the vehicle and found the plates were registered to a Honda Civic, police said.

When questioned about it, Hinton claimed he put the plates from his girlfriend's care on in order to take it to be repaired. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a tablet of Oxycodone and other narcotics paraphernalia, police said.

Hinton was released on $1,000 bond and is due in court on May 23.
