The bodies of the 29-year-old Hackensack man and a New York City woman, 24, were discovered around 8:20 a.m. in a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker with New York license plates. It was parked on Overlook Avenue across from the Stratford House high-rise condominiums, Police Director Michael Mordaga said.

Mordaga said the two apparently were hanging out together in the car with the seats partially reclined. Police couldn't substantiate a witness' earlier report that they were having sex, he said.

The Bergen County Medical Examiner was conducting autopsies the director noted.
