Rusk spoke late Wednesday afternoon as he waited for a ride home after students had been dismissed from school following the nearly four-hour lockdown.

He said police didn't release much information about what had happened.
"They told us that something went down during lunch," he said.

A threat had been discovered on a bathroom wall forcing school staff to go into a lockdown, police said.
The students were all gathered in the auditorium while police conducted a search of the school, he said. Rusk said the time started to drag as he and others waited to be released.
"It was kind of boring honestly because I ran out of things to do on my phone," he said. "I had no games on my phone that didn't need a wi-fi connection so I couldn't really do anything."
