NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan firefighters have responded to 15 burst water pipe reports in recent days, according to NCAdvertiser.

Fire officials responded to two broken pipes on Sunday, eight on Monday and five so far today, NCAdvertiser reported. 

Pipes can burst following freezing temperatures, even after temperatures rise, said NCAdvertiser.
