A local man is facing a disorderly conduct charge following a domestic incident that was broken up by police in New Canaan.
Officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to a Hampton Lane residence at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, where there was a report of a domestic dispute between two people who live in the home.
An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of New Canaan resident Christian Pedersen, 24, who was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
Following arraignment for the charge, Pedersen was released on his own recognizance and is due back in New Canaan Justice Court on Friday morning to answer the charge. Due to the domestic nature of the incident, police said that no additional information is expected to be released.
