Elliott L. Maynes, 23, was originally arrested in 2012 after employees at P.C. Richard & Son discovered child pornography on his computer while attempting to repair the machine, police told the Advocate. Maynes was sentenced to five years of probation as a result, the Stamford Advocate said.

Probation officers conducted an unannounced search of Maynes' New Canaan apartment in September 2013 and discovered more pornography on his computer, a violation of the terms of his probation, the Stamford Advocate reported.

Maynes has been charged with second-degree possession of child pornography and is scheduled to appear in court Friday, July 25, according to the Stamford Advocate.
