New Canaan Police Dog Dies During Training

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — New Canaan Police K9 Rocky died Sunday after choking on a training ball, a release from the police department said.

K9 Officer McFadden attempted to dislodge the ball but could not before Rocky died, the release said. The incident took place late Sunday afternoon, the release said.

“We are all mourning the loss of an exceptional police dog,” the release said.
