An investigation into narcotics sales led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man following a search of his home.

Ryan Jackson, of Norwalk, was arrested Tuesday at a location in Stamford by members of the Norwalk Police Department's Special Services Department along with the U.S. Marshals Service, according to the Norwalk Police.

The hunt for Jackson began after an Oct. 4 search of his Freedman Drive home in which agents seized from the department's Special Services Division and the Emergency Services Unit seized fentanyl-laced heroin, marijuana, drug packaging material, and ammunition, the department said.

Jackson, who was not home at the time of the search, was arrested on a warrant secured by Officer Brian Barrett, who was the lead on the case.

He was charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics, possession with Intent to sell marijuana, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of ammunition.

He is being held on $200,000 bond.

Jackson also had three additional arrest warrants for sale and possession of narcotics. Each warrant had a court set bond of $150,000. He was also wanted on a separate failure to appear warrant.
