Olympic boxing hopeful charged with domestic violence

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford Olympic boxing hopeful Nick Scaturchio is facing charges of physically and psychologically abusing his 15-year-old girlfriend and assaulting her dog, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Scaturchio, 19, was charged with violating a judge’s protective order, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, risk of injury to a child, robbery, larceny and threatening. His bond was set to $550,000 due to the seriousness of the charges, the Stamford Advocate reported.
