Several Hospitalized As SUV Hits Pickup Truck Head On In Fairfield County

Several people were hospitalized following a head-on collision early Monday morning on I-95 in Stamford.

A pickup truck struck an SUV on the interstate early on Monday, leaving both vehicles destroyed. The SUV was found on the median of the roadway when first responders arrived to clean up the scene.

Several people were hospitalized as a result of the crash, which was near Exit 8 (Canal Street). Their conditions were not immediately available on Monday morning. Several lanes were closed for hours as crews cleaned up the scene. Officials from the Stamford Fire Department said that police are currently investigating the incident.
