RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — Swastikas were found drawn on the outside of the Masonic Lodge and the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield this week, according to the Ridgefield Press.

A total of five swastikas were discovered — two at the Lodge and three at the Museum — and are believed to have been drawn by the same person, police told the Ridgefield Press. They were drawn in green marker and ranged in size, according to the Ridgefield Press.

The swastikas as the museum were discovered by a passerby Sunday morning, and were removed by police, the Ridgefield Press reported. They were drawn on the door and the museum's entrance and exit signs, according to the Ridgefield Press.

The swastikas at the Mason Lodge on Main Street were reported Tuesday afternoon, drawn on the door and on a sign near the entrance, the Ridgefield Press reported.

This is not the first time in recent months that anti-Semitic graffiti has been discovered in town. Swastikas were discovered on a classroom door in Ridgefield High School in November, on a table at the high school in September, at Ballard Park last June, and outside Ridgefield High School last March.

There were also several instances of swastikas found in nearby Wilton this past fall as well.

Anyone with information on the most recent incidents is asked to contact police.
