Two Busted With Crystal Meth At Stamford Motel

STAMFORD, Conn. — Two people were arrested after police found crystal meth on them in separate incidents at a Stamford motel this weekend, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that officers spotted a man sitting in a car in the parking lot Friday afternoon before going inside. The man, identified as 65-year-old Robert Dorn of New York, was seen walking on the second floor looking at the doors, the Stamford Advocate reported. 

When officers stopped him, he gave off the odor of marijuana, and when searched police found eight grams of meth on him, according to the Stamford Advocate. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and sale of a controlled substance, according to the Stamford Advocate.

On Sunday, officers learned that a man would be delivering meth to the motel, and eventually saw someone matching his description, according to the Stamford Advocate. The man, 36-year-old James Hamilton of New Haven, was stopped and found to have five grams of meth on him, the Stamford Advocate reported. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to the Stamford Advocate.
