An undercover South Hackensack police officer responded to an online adult advertisement and was met by the teen at a Route 46 motel, Capt. Robert Kaiser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon.

She was turned over to state child protection workers, and the accused pimp — 30-year-old Ernestine Bowman of Orange (above) — was arrested on human trafficking charges.

Bowman was being held on $250,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail on child endangerment and human trafficking-related counts.

A second suspect arrested in the sting — Tonika Williams, 31, of Raleigh, NC (below, top) — was charged with prostitution, the captain said. She was released on a summons.

Kaiser said a second undercover operation led to heroin and crack drug-dealing charges against a Paterson couple: Terry Dance, 31, and 20-year-old Edson Carranza.

Dance, who also was charged with resisting, was being held on $25,000 bail and Carranza on $2,500 in the county jail, he said.
