New Canaan's Cole Harris Named Player Of The Year By MSG Varsity

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan High School football player Cole Harris was named Monday as the MSG Varsity Player of the Year in Connecticut.

Harris, a senior, led the Rams to the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference and Class L championship. He was the anchor for the Rams’ defense, recording 170 tackles, three interceptions, seven caused fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He also scored five touchdowns.

Other New Canaan players on MSG Varsity’s first team included quarterback Nick Cascione, offensive lineman Joao Rocha, defensive lineman Connor Buck, linebackers Zach Allen and Michael Root and kicker Peter Swindell.
