Police: Woman Hit By Car And Pinned Underneath It In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — A woman suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car and pinned underneath it in a strip mall parking lot in Norwalk on Sunday afternoon, according to The Hour. Officers who were dispatched to 205 Main St. at 3:15 p.m. found the woman trapped under the car, police told The Hour. Firefighters used tools to raise the car and free the woman, who was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, The Hour said. The incident is under police investigation. Park City Magnet In Bridgeport Closed Monday Due To Flooding BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Park City Magnet School in Bridgeport will be closed Monday due to a broken pipe that has caused flooding in the building at 1526 Chopsey Hill Road, according to NBC Connecticut. Full-Scale Search Underway For Inmate Who Escaped From Connecticut Prison A full-scale search is underway for an inmate who escaped Sunday from the Carl Robinson Correctional Institution in Enfield, Connecticut State Police said. At 3:15 p.m. Sunday, the prison was placed on lockdown after a prisoner was not accounted for during a routine facility count, state police said. Check Your Ticket: $1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Connecticut Check your tickets: It wasn't the top prize, but a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Connecticut for Saturday night's big drawing. Stamford Man Busted With 40 Pounds Of Pot Pleads Guilty To Federal Charge STAMFORD, Conn. — A 36-year-old Stamford man busted with nearly 40 pounds of pot last summer pleaded guilty Friday to a federal marijuana-trafficking offense, prosecutors said. Two Injured In Head-On Crash Near Target In Bethel BETHEL, Conn. — Two people were taken to Danbury Hospital after a two-car crash on Route 6 in front of Target in Bethel on Saturday morning, according to a Facebook post from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company. At 11:45 a.m., Stony Hill Fire & EMS were dispatched to Route 6 in front of Target for the two-car accident, the post said. Two cars sustained heavy front-end damage after a head-on crash on the busy road, the post said. The two people who were sent to Danbury Hospital suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the post said. The roadway was briefly closed after the crash.

Homeowner, Police Officer Sent To Hospital After Fire In Easton House EASTON, Conn. — An Easton homeowner and an Easton police officer were taken to the hospital after a fire in the basement heavily damaged a local house, according to The Hour. Redding's Mark Twain Library Closed Until Further Notice REDDING, Conn. — The Mark Twain Library in Redding is closed and facing a big repair job.
