Weekend Detours Set For Road Project In Stamford Near I-95

STAMFORD, Conn. – Construction on the Interstate 95 northbound Exit 8 ramp and surrounding areas in Stamford will create detours on Saturday, June 3.

To accommodate the space required for the erection cranes, South State Street will be closed between Guernsey Avenue and Canal Street. Atlantic Street will be closed between North State Street and Dock Street. The northbound Exit 8 ramp will be closed as well. These closures will run from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions and seek alternate routes.
