Kaufman hails from Norwalk and is the author of the critically acclaimed books, "One Last Lie" and "In the Shadow of Stone." As a child, the author was fascinated by stories -- and storytelling. He went on to major in psychology and developed a penchant for thrillers.
Kaufman’s studies gave him the foundation for understanding one’s motives, and he delves into the human psyche when creating his multi-faceted characters, according to a press release.
Kaufman has also tapped his promotional writing skills and launched RJ Direct, a Norwalk-based direct marketing and copy writing firm. The author now splits his time between business and creative writing and is currently working on his third novel.
Elm Street Books is at 35 Elm St. in New Canaan. Copies of Kaufman's first novel, "In the Shadow of Stone," also will be available.
