Tappan Zee Beats Byram Hills To Take Winter Classic Basketball Title

ARMONK, N.Y. -- The Dutchmen of Tappan Zee held off a furious fourth-quarter run by Byram Hills, but never gave up the lead, earning a 63-55 victory Saturday night in the championship game of the Byram Hills 2015 Winter Classic Tournament at Byram Hills High School.

TZ has now opened the season with three consecutive wins. The Dutchmen were led by senior team captain Rob McWilliams, who scored 24 points, and grabbed eight rebounds. Senior guard Alan Levine was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Sophomore Skylar Sinon led the Bobcats (1-1) with 21 points.
