Vita To Offer Free Tax Assistance At New Canaan Library

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Get free help with your taxes when the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance group visits the New Canaan Library on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning Tuesday, Feb. 9 and running through April 9.

VITA volunteers will help New Canaan residents complete their taxes for free at the New Canaan Library beginning Feb. 9 and running through April 9. Registration is required.

Volunteers will assist taxpayers with standard income tax forms at the library, 151 Main St., by appointment only. Taxpayers are asked to remember and bring all of the needed information, including W2 forms, identification and any other tax information you received from your bank, etc.
