The screening is set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in the Adrian Lamb Room at the library.

The documentary takes place in Concord, where in 1775, Patriots fired the famous 'shot heard round the world' that began the Revolutionary War and defined a nation.

For three years, 84-year-old Jean Hill has been trying to rid the town of single-serve plastic bottles of water. Complete with strong opposition from local merchants and the bottled water industry, she is once again leading the controversial crusade.

The film is part of New Canaan Library's inaugural Documentary Film Fest. This year, the theme is the environment: how people interact with it, learn in it and preserve -- or destroy -- it.

The films are award winning and will continue for six weeks Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
