Friday, April 19

Astronomy Nights: 7:30 p.m. The Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, will teach you all about giant quasars. The event is free for members and $3 for non-member adults and $2 for non-member kids.

Saturday, April 20

Deal Days Tag Sale: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Help support New Canaan Country School, 545 Pound Ridge Road, and find some deals at this annual tag sale event. Free admission after 9:30 a.m., and $10 for early-bird admission.

Earth Day Pitch-In Day: 9:30 a.m. to noon. Help clean up the New Canaan Nature Center, 144 Oenoke Ridge, in honor of Earth Day.

Xodus 7 Continent Challenge: Noon to 8:30 p.m. World class squash players will face off as part of a global challenge, and there will be other events for the whole family to enjoy. Admission is $25. Chelsea Piers, One Blachley Road, Stamford.

Earth Day Family Volunteer Project: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Help the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, remove garlic mustard, an invasive species, for Earth Day.
