Friday, May 31

"Peter and the Wolf" and "Don Quixote" Suite: 7 to 9 p.m. The Ballet School of Stamford will be performing at the Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic St., Stamford. Tickets range from $10 to $25.

Saturday, June 1

Citibank New Canaan Family Day: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The New Canaan Police Department and Citibank will be hosting event at the bank, 175 Elm St. Mr. Met will be there for a bit as well.

Beach Boys Gala & Concert: 6 p.m. The band will perform a charity concert for Dana's Angels Research Trust at the Palace Theatre, 61 Atlantic St., Stamford. The gala will be hosted by Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford and costs $350 to attend. Concert tickets range from $50 to $110 and can be found on Stamford Center for the Arts website.

Sunday, June 2

Hope in Motion: Walk, Run & Ride: 9 a.m. The annual fundraiser for the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital will take place in Stamford. The events will take place at Columbus Park in Downtown Stamford.

Ice Cream Social & Car Show: 1 p.m. The New Canaan Historical Society, 13 Oenoke Ridge Road, New Canaan, will host a number of events for the whole family, including a car show and an ice cream social. The ice cream social is $6.
