Friday, May 3

Healthy Kids Day Celebration: 6 to 8 p.m. The New Canaan YMCA, 564 South Ave., will host a free night of kids activities. The events are open to kids of all ages.

Couture for A Cause: 7 p.m.  The Loading Dock, 375 Fairfield Ave., in Stamford, will host a night of dancing, cocktails, and a fashion show to support the less fortunate in the area through the Young Women’s League of New Canaan. Tickets are $100 and VIP tickets are $150.

Saturday, May 4

Annual Model Ts to Mustangs Antique & Classic Car Show: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come see classic cars, with a focus this year on Ford, at the Stamford Museum & Nature, 39 Scofieldtown Road. The event is free with gate admission.

Are You Looking to Rescue a Horse: 12 to 3 p.m. Bella’s Way Equine Rescue will be at Village Critter Outfitters, 107 Cherry St., in New Canaan teaching people how to adopt a horse.

Sunday, May 5

2012 J.C. Arriaga Competition Winners Concert: 4 p.m. Treetops Chamber Music Society presents the winners of its J.C. Arriaga Competition, which will be held at its studio at 359 Merriebrook Road, in Stamford. Tickets are: $40 single ticket, $20 student, $5 children 5-15.
