Lyn Evan Potpourri Designs Customer Appreciation Day: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stop by Lyn Evan Potpourri Designs for 15 percent off all American made products, and call ahead and reserve a free parking spot.

Saturday, May 11

St. Mark’s May Fair: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Rides, games, food, and a tag sale are among the attractions at the St. Mark’s May Fair, 111 Oenoke Ridge Road, New Canaan.

Surviving Dinner, What More Could a Mom Ask for?: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Author and award winning chef Debra Ponzek will be at Elm Street Books, 35 Elm St., New Canaan with her book “The Dinnertime Survival Cookbook: Delicious, Inspiring Meals for Busy Families.”

Outdoor Adventures: Go (and Glow) in the Dark: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Head over to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, for a hike to check out the night sky and animals in the area, and then paint your own nighttime masterpiece. The program is recommended for kids 6 & up, and is $5 for members and $8 for non-members.

Sunday, May 12

Sunday Explorers: 12 to 4 p.m. Take the kids to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, 39 Scofieldtown Road, for a day worth of outdoor events including meeting the farm animals, arts and crafts, and more. The event is free with gate admission.
