Most Popular Boys, Girls Baby Names For 2015 Unveiled

Baby names have always seemed to follow social trends, but the latest wrinkle may even have techies scratching their heads.

Jackson and Sophia were among the top baby names for 2015, but more and more parents are using Instagram-inspired monikers like Lux and Ludwig.

According to a report on NBC’s “Today Show,” more parents are choosing names inspired by Instagram filters.

Are you ready for Lux (up 75 percent in popularity) or Ludwig (up 42 percent)?

Sophia, Emma, and Olivia remain the top three names for girls; and Jackson, Aiden, and Liam are the top three for boys, NBC reported, citing the annual BabyCenter Baby Names Survey.
