Audubon Greenwich To Lead Birding Trip To Stamford's Cove Island Park

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Audubon Greenwich will host a birding event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 2 at Cove Island Park in Stamford.

Cove Island Park has been designated as an important birding area due to the rich variety of bird life attracted to its mix of open water,salt marsh, meadow, thicket and forest areas.

Join the Audubon for a field trip to seek out migrant waterbirds, shorebirds, raptors and songbirds.

Either meet at Audubon Greenwich at 613 Riversville Road to join a van ride/carpool or meet near the bird sanctuary entrance gate at the southwest corner of the Cove Island Park parking lot in Stamford. The cost is $10 in van or $5 if meeting the group.
