Female Cat Rescued By Westport Animal Control

WESTPORT, Conn. — An approximately 4-year-old female cat was recently found by a Westport Animal Control officer after she had a close encounter with a vehicle that left her with a slight burn near her right eye.

The cat was found last Thursday near Jesup Green. Thanks to Westport Animal Shelter Advocates, she received emergency veterinary care at Schulhof Animal Hospital, where she is staying free of charge until her owner comes forward.
