Friends Of New Canaan Library Host Holiday Book Sale

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The Friends of the New Canaan Library will host a holiday book sale in memory of longtime volunteer John Randolph from Friday, Dec. 6 through Monday, Dec. 9, in the Adrian Lamb room of the New Canaan Library.

Hours for the sale on Friday, Dec. 6, will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a special early bird admission from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for $15 admittance fee.

Shoppers on Friday night will also be able to enjoy piano music by George Baker.

The book sale will be open on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All books will be half price on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and bags of books will cost $5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

All proceeds from the book sale will go to help support library activities like summer reading programs for children, art exhibits and film discussions.

The New Canaan Library is at 151 Main St.
