New Canaan Honors Hanukkah With Menorah Lighting At God's Acre

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Menorah will be lit at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, on God’s Acre, between Park and Main streets.

At the lighting ceremony, rabbis from Temple Shalom in Norwalk will lead prayers and songs. Volunteers from families light the candles and lead the singing on the following seven nights at 5 p.m.

The eight days of Hanukkah take place from Nov. 28 through Dec. 5.
