New Canaan Hosting Panel Discussion On College Sports Recruiting

NEW CANAAN, Conn. - A panel discussion on recruiting for college sports, with a focus on lacrosse, will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, at Infinity Fitness, at 70 Pine St. in New Canaan.

The discussion, titled “Lacrosse 101,” is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The volunteer panel will include Chip Buzzeo, boys' lacrosse head coach at New Canaan High School; Zach Dehm, program director and head coach of Infinity Athletics; and Mary Cuoco, president of the New Canaan Lacrosse Association.

The moderator will be Lee Jones, a partner in Competitive Edge College Advisors.

The panel will focus on not only lacrosse recruiting, but also on college sports in general, with an emphasis on how students can best prepare themselves and their bodies for college-level sports.
