New Canaan's Glass House Runs In-Depth Tours For Children

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The Glass House of New Canaan will hold in-depth tours for children, where visitors can enjoy unparalleled access to the 49-acre site during a three-hour visit.

The Glass House, at 199 Elm St. in New Canaan, begins its in-depth tours for children on Friday, May 1.

The most comprehensive tour, the in-depth tour will include the Glass House, Painting Gallery, and Da Monsta as well as the lower landscape with the Pavilion in the Pond and the Monument to Lincoln Kirstein. Designed for children in grades 6-8, the Club Glass House After School Tour will introduce students to architecture, contemporary art and craftsmanship through the lens of the Glass House.
