Writer on Child Trafficking Coming to Library

When Conor Grennan of New Canaan volunteered at the Little Princes Children’s Home in Nepal several years back, he didn’t know that the children there had been taken from their homes and trafficked. Soon after he found out, he started the organization Next Generation Nepal and wrote the book “Little Princes.”

Grennan will discuss his experiences in Nepal and how the organization and book came about Tuesday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. during a reading at the Wilton Library. “Grennan’s work is by turns self-pokingly humorous, exciting and inspiring,” Publisher’s Weekly said of “Little Princes.”

Grennan launched Next Generation Nepal in 2006. The non-profit organization tries to reconnect kids with their parents, and since its founding about 300 families have been reunited.

The event is free and copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by the author. Registration is recommended.
