Town Hall offices will close at 1 p.m., Christmas Eve and remain closed Tuesday for Christmas before reopening on Wednesday. This includes Vine Cottage, the offices at Irwin Park and the Recreation Department at Waveny House.
The town’s transfer station will be open regular hours on Monday and will be closed on Christmas Day. It will reopen at 7 a.m., Wednesday.
New Canaan Library will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The library will reopen for its regular hours on Wednesday.
New Canaan Public Schools, which had a half-day on Friday, will be closed for a holiday break before reopening on Jan. 2. St. Aloysius School is also closed until Jan. 2. New Canaan Country School and St. Luke’s School are closed for winter break until Jan. 7.
