Temperatures are expected to stay within the low to mid-80s throughout the week, according to AccuWeather.com meteorologist Steve Travis. On Monday, it will be partially sunny and the high will be 81 degrees, with low humidity and a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

"Around Tuesday or Wednesday it will start to feel a little more humid. It will start to feel pretty sticky out there," Travis said. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 83 degrees.

Mornings should be pretty dry this week, but each day carries a chance of thunderstorms by mid-day. Travis said there won't be any major washouts but just spotty rain in the afternoon. Most nights will be cloudy this week, with temperatures in the mid- to high 60s.

Wednesday is predicted to be the warmest day of the week, with a high of 86 degrees. Temperatures should fall back to the low 80s Thursday and Friday, with a continued chance of afternoon rain heading into the weekend. Temperatures will be pretty consistent throughout the county.

"It should be pretty typical summer weather for this time of year," Travis said. "There are no big weather systems moving into the area."
