Signal Problems In Norwalk Slowing Metro-North Trains Up To An Hour

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Trains were delayed 30 to 60 minutes through the vicinity of South Norwalk due to signal problems, Metro-North announced on its website.

Substitute bus service was running in place of the 5:15 p.m. train departing Danbury and making all stops to South Norwalk due to the signal problems.

Also due to the signal problems, Substitute bus service was provided for the 7:25 p.m. train departing Danbury, making all stops to South Norwalk. This bus was operating about 30 minutes late. 

And substitute bus service was also provided for the 8:18 p.m. train departing South Norwalk, making all stops to Danbury.

Train riders were advised to listen for announcements at the stations.
