Eversource and United Illuminating were reporting large outages that grew in number during the late afternoon. After hours of repair work, the following power outages remained as of 10 p.m. Tuesday:
- Bethel: 55, down from 365 customers
- Bridgeport: Power restored to 45 customers
- Brookfield: 2 customers
- Danbury: Power restored to 14 customers
- Darien: 32 customers, down from 73 customers
- Easton: 44 customers
- Fairfield: 15 customers, down from 365 customers
- Greenwich: 30 customers, down from 145 customers
- New Canaan: Power restored to 11 customers
- New Fairfield: Power restored to 1 customer
- Newtown: 1 customer, down from 31 customers
- Norwalk: 11 customers, down from 386
- Ridgefield: Power restored to 5 customers
- Redding: Power restored to 101 customers
- Shelton: 1 customer
- Sherman: 1 customer
- Stamford: 1 customer, down from 435
- Stratford: Power restored to 13 customers
- Trumbull: 1 customer
- Weston: 3 customers, down from 494
- Westport: 6 customers, down from 310 customers
- Wilton: Power restored to 255 customers
