NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Theresa DeMichael, 85, a lifelong resident of New Canaan, died on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at home after a brief illness.
DeMichael was born on Sept. 15, 1929, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Fricione) Lappitalo. She was the wife of Anthony DeMichael, a New Canaan police officer.
DeMichael is survived by her three children: Jeff DeMichael and wife, Dorothy, of Deep River; Glenn DeMichael of New Canaan; and daughter, Lydia Linke and her husband, Robert, of Bethel; five grandchildren; two sisters; a brother-in-law; a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan.
