NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The New Canaan Fire Department quickly extinguished a roof fire at a home on Turtleback Road South on Thursday, Jan. 16, preventing major damage, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. 

Fire officials reported no injuries, and the residents were able to remain in the home after the blaze, the New Canaan Advertiser reported.
