Police told Greenwich Time that someone stole valuables from the home on Christmas Eve, and that 36-year-old Michael Larosa of Plainville was developed as a person of interest because he was known to the homeowners and had access to the home. They were able to secure a warrant for his arrest, and when he was arrested in Farmington recently on an unrelated matter, it was discovered that he had an active warrant out of Greenwich, according to Greenwich Time.

Larosa was charged with burglary, larceny, and conspiracy to commit larceny, according to Greenwich Time. He was released on a $10,000 bond and will appear in court on June 14, Greenwich Time reported.
