STAMFORD, Conn. — Two Stamford men were arrested on burglary charges after a witness saw them break into a home on Friday afternoon, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Police responded to King Street at around 3:30 p.m. after a caller reported seeing two men breaking into a home, the Stamford Advocate reported. As officers arrived, they received a call saying that the two men had left, with the caller providing a description of the BMW they left in and a license plate number, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Officers were able to locate the car and the two occupants, who matched the descriptions of the men seen breaking into the house, according to the Stamford Advocate. Dorias C. Haywood, 40, and Devon A. Pearson, 30, were both arrested on a number of charges, including third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, according to the Stamford Advocate.
