Three Men Injured In Three Shootings In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Three people were hospitalized after three separate shootings during daylight hours on Saturday in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post.

The three shootings occurred, according to the Post: 

  • At 8:05 a.m. in the Greene Homes apartments, where a 50-year-old man was left in critical but stable condition after being shot multiple times;.
  • At 3:50 p.m. on Yaremich Drive, where a 22-year-old man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound fired by someone going past on a dirt bike; and 

  • At 4:20 p.m. on Beechwood Avenue, where a man was hit in the shoulder by a single gunshot as he walked with a friend.   

In the first incident, Jose Perez of Bridgeport was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, first-degree reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a minor, the Connecticut Post said.
