Mallozzi Sounds Warning Against Spending And Hiring New Employees

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan First Selectman Robert Mallozzi III said during a town meeting earlier this week that it's time to curtail extraneous spending and limit hiring new staff, according to the NCAdvertiser.

He also said the only area of priority for hiring was in the finance department, where extra staff is needed according to an assessment by the audit committee, added the NCAdvertiser.
