WESTPORT, Conn. One person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a two-car crash on the Merritt Parkway northbound between exits 42 and 44.
Westport firefighters and Westport EMS were called to the scene at 3:39 p.m. Upon arrival, the driver of an Acura was treated by emergency personnel and transported to Bridgeport Hospital for evaluation, Assistant Fire Chief Larry Conklin reported.
Fairfield firefighters were also called to the scene but were sent on another call before arriving at the scene. The crash was cleared at 4:18 p.m.
