(Update) 1 Hospitalized After School Bus, Multi-Car Crash in Boston: Police

Update: A 51-year-old Brockton woman who was injured when the car she was riding in crashed with a school bus in Boston Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, has been taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment, authorities said.

The woman was riding with a 65-year-old Taunton woman, who was driving a Toyota Camry that crashed into the bus full of students, reports said. The 53-year-old school bus driver, a 17-year-old, and a 15-year-old student were treated at the scene, authorities said. 

The Camry driver was not harmed. Police did not release the victim's names. 

Three parked cars were also damaged in the wreck. No one was inside them, but a Tesla had to be towed away for repairs. 

Police are still investigating the crash.

Police were called to the crash at 325 Riverway around 7:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police said. "Occupants, including students, driver, and adult monitor, are behind evaluated for possible minor injuries," the agency said in a news release. 

Aerial photos from NBC Boston show a sedan with a great deal of rear-end damage, seemingly pinned against a tree.
