Expert To Speak On Misusing Social Media At New Canaan High

NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan High School is hosting speaker Richard Guerry, who will focus on responsible online presence during an in-school assembly on Nov. 5

He will also speak in the Wagner Room at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 for parents and students.

Guerry’s award-winning program focuses on ways to prevent trends such as "sexting" and "cyber-bullying” and ways to create solutions to digital issues students may face. Guerry’s goal is to construct a digital community free of negative consequences resulting from poor judgment.

The evening presentation is open to the entire New Canaan community.
