New Canaan's Saxe School Seeks More Space For Growing Number Of Students

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Officials from Saxe Middle School in New Canaan are exploring ways to help deal with the growing student population, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.

One potential solution is to convert two labs at the middle school into classroom space. One of the rooms is a computer lab and the other is an audio/language lab, the New Canaan Advertiser reported.

School officials said the district saw an unprecedented spike of new families within its borders, and the population is expected to continue to rise in the coming years, the New Canaan Advertiser said.
