Study Skills Workshop Coming To The Outback In New Canaan

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The Outback Teen Center in New Canaan and Fairfield County-based Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4) will offer a study skills workshop for area middle school students.

A study skills workshop will be coming to The Outback in New Canaan in April.

The workshops foster academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn while reducing stress.The workshop is open to all area students in grades 5 through 8.

Classes will be held at The Outback, 71 Main St. in New Canaan, on five Thursdays: April 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, 2014, from 5-6:30 p.m. to allow students to participate in their Spring extracurricular activities.

S4 workshops are taught by accredited teachers, with class size limited to 15, allowing for more focused and individualized attention to be given to each student.
