The school provides an early childhood education environment that meets all children's developmental needs. Its holistic curriculum uses nature, science, art, language and math on a 40-acre campus to build each child's foundation for lifelong learning and success. The Nature Center's naturalists also visit classrooms regularly with animals and lead seasonal activities
There are several age-based classes that meet in the mornings. Optional extended days and lunch bunches also are available.
The New Canaan Nature Center Preschool is fully licensed and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
