You’ve got two days to prepare for Fairfield American’s first game in the Little League World Series.
Connecticut’s boys of summer go face-to-face with the Mid-Atlantic champs, Holbrook Little League out of Jackson, N.J., at 3 p.m., Thursday on ESPN.
The Fairfield team is coming off a stunning 10-0 win over Maine to clinch the New England championship. That game sent Fairfield to Williamsport, Penn., for the third time in history, a Connecticut first.
At 18-0, Fairfield American is undefeated in tournament play this season.
